AL starts nomination form sale for 2 by-polls

Senior Correspondent: The ruling Awami League (AL) has begun nomination papers sale for the by-elections in Kishoreganj-1 parliamentary constituency and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayoral race.

Besides, the party will also sell nomination papers for by-polls in three municipalities and 30 Union Parishads mayoral and chairman races.

AL starts nomination forms sale at 10:00am on Wednesday. The activities of form sale and submission will also continue at AL president’s Dhanmondi office from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday.

A press release signed by the party’s office secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap requested the nomination aspirants to submit nomination papers by 5:00pm on January 25.
