Awami League announces election manifesto

Staff Correspondent: Awami League is announcing its election manifesto ahead of the 11th national election slated for 30 December.

The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is declaring the polls manifesto from Hotel Sonargaon’s Ballroom in the capital.

Sheikh Hasina said, “The efforts to strengthen rights commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, media, and the judiciary will continue.”

She said, “Steps will be taken to make the parliament effective. The administration's efficiency, accountability and public service will be ensured. Zero Tolerance against terrorism, militancy will continue.”

“Electricity will be provided to every houses in the country in the next 5 years. Every villages will be connected with upazilas and districts through carpeting roads. Factories will be built at the district and upazila levels to ensure employment,” she added.
