ASI receives bullet injury in Ctg

Staff Correspondent: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of police named Abdul Malek received bullet injury as miscreants opened fire targeting a police outpost in the port city on Friday evening.

The incident took place in no. 2 gate area of Sholoshohor under Panchlaish Thana.

According to sources, the ASI of a check post challenged a motorcycle but the driver fled the spot after opening fire at him.

After the incident, his colleague took Abdul Malek to a hospital. He received bullet in his knee.
