Abdul Jabbar taken to ICU

Entertainment Reporter: Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste and noted singer Abdul Jabbar was taken to ICU (Insensitive Care Unit) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Tuesday.
Jabbar is suffering from kidney, cardiovascular and other ailments.
The artiste played active role to encourage freedom fighters by singing patriotic songs during the independence war of 1971.
After the Liberation War, he donated Taka 12 lakh to the relief fund of newly independent Bangladesh.
He obtained Bangabandhu Padak (1973), Ekushey Padak (1980), Shadhinota Padak (1996) and different national and international awards.
