Abrar’s death: Bus driver remanded for 7 days

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed the driver of Suprovat Paribahan bus that killed Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) student Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury on a 7-day remand in a case filed over the road crash.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari passed the order after hearing in the case on Wednesday.

Earlier, Investigation Officer (IO) of the case Aminul Islam, also Inspector of Gulshan Police Station, produced him before the court and sought a 10-day remand.
