Abu Touhid Bhuiyan new chairman of SEIHR

Staff Correspondent: Abu Touhid Bhuiyan Prince has been made new chairman of Society for Establishment and Implementation of Human Rights (SEIHR).

Following to the Constitution, members of the organisation made him chairman through a regulation recently, says a press release.

Members of the organisation took the decision as former chairman and freedom fighter AM Khaleque has been absent in the organisation for last 4/5 years due to his prolonged paralysis and illness.

Secretary General of the organization Md Nurul Islam protested a press release sent by a vested quarter to media houses mentioning AM Khaleque as its chairman.

A newspaper also published the press release that is false, fabricated and purposive, he claimed.
