Actress rape at Banani: Report August 17

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has fixed August 17 to submit the report after deferring the date in a case filed for raping an actress in the capital's Banani.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Delwar Hossain passed the order as Sub-Inspector (SI) Sultana Akter, also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, failed to submit it on Tuesday.
One Bahauddin Ivan invited the actress to his house on Road-2 on the occasion of birthday on July 5 and raped her.
Later, the girl filed a case with Banani Police Station in this connection.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the sole accused Ivan from Narayanganj city on July 6.
