Afghanistan set 156-run target for Zimbabwe

Afghanistan set a 156-run target for Zimbabwe on Friday in the ongoing tri-series T20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Afghans managed to score 155 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz posted a brilliant innings of 61 runs off 47 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes.

Hazratullah Zazai scored 31 runs while Shafiqullah Shafiq, 16, Fazal Niazai, 12, Gulbadin Naib, 10 and Rashid Khan, 9 runs.

For Zimbabwe, Chris Mpofu smashed 4 wickets for 30 runs while Tinotenda Mutombodzi 2 wickets.

However, Afghanistan have already booked a place in the final of the event. They will take on Bangladesh in the final.

Zimbabwe endured three defeats in a row and lost their chance to play in the final.
