Sports Desk: Afghanistan set 256-run target for Bangladesh losing seven wickets in allotted 50 overs in the last match of Asia Cup Group B against in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Afghanistan’s Hashmatullah Shahidi smashed a 58-run innings off 92 balls with 3 fours while spinner Rashid Khan (not out) scored 57 runs from 32 balls with 8 fours and one six.

Gulbadin Naib (not out) hit 42 runs off 38 balls with 5 fours and Mohammad Shahzad (wk) scored 37 runs from 47 balls with 4 fours.

For Bangladesh, the ace all-rounder Shakib Al-Hasan bagged four wickets while his bowling figure is 10-1-42-4.

Abu Hider Rony took two wickets on his international debut and while pacer Rubel Hossain bagged a wicket.
