Ambulance, truck collision kills 2 in Bogura

Bogura Correspondent: Two people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a goods-laden truck in Bottola area under Sherpur Upazila of the district on Friday noon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that the accident took place on Dhaka-Bogura highway in the area around 1:00pm when a Naogaon-bound truck collided with the ambulance carrying the dead body of a person from Dhaka, leaving two ambulance passengers dead on spot and three others injured.

Later, the injured were sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
