Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a former minister and BNP Standing Committee member, again on September 10 as he could not appear before the anti-graft watchdog.
Earlier, ACC summoned him to appear before it for interrogation over allegations of money laundering and amassing wealth illegally on August 28 (Tuesday).
But the BNP leader sent a letter to the anti-graft body, seeking a month time saying that he did not appear before ACC because of Eid vacation and not collecting documents.
Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ACC confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said, “Though Amir Khasru sought time for a month, ACC investigation official sent him a letter to appear before the commission on September 10 for his statement.”
