Another Anik killed in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chattagram: Another youth named Anik was killed by his friends at Aturardepot area of Panchlaish, amid tension of Anik murder over honking his motorbike at Chateshawri area in the port city.

Two friends stabbed Saidul Islam Anik, 22, an electrician, to death over trifling matter on Tuesday night. Another friend Samrat was injured in the incident.

Abdul Warish Khan, deputy commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), confirmed the news.

According to police and locals, Anik and Samrat locked into altercation with their friends Sunny and Tayeb over something. As a sequel to that Sunny and Tayeb stabbed Anik and Samrat and fled the scene on Tuesday night. Later, they both were rushed to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital where Anik succumbed while undergoing treatment. Samrat has still been undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Cops started drives to nab the killers, according to police.
