Arefin, Kamal, Abdul Aziz nominated for DU VC panel

Staff Correspondent: AAMS Arefin Siddique, Professor Kamal Uddin and former Awami League-backed Blue panel convener Prof Abdul Aziz have been nominated for Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) panel.

Dhaka University senators on Saturday nominated the three members for appointment of its new Vice-Chancellor.

In a special meeting, the senators, approved the names around 4:00pm as the tenure of incumbent Vice-Chancellor professor Arefin Siddique will end on August 24.

Earlier, BNP-Jamaat backed white panel announced boycott the senate session. As a result, the blue panel is finalized now.
