Arrest warrant against Khaleda yet to reach thana: IGP

Staff Correspondent: Arrest warrant issued against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is yet to reach police station, Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque said.

The IGP made the statement while talking to journalists after attending a function in the capital's Mirpur area on Tuesday.

The police chief said, "I came to know about the arrest warrant issued against Khaleda Zia but it is still in the court. The arrest warrant did not reach the concerned police station."

Many other top police officials attended the function.
