BB unveils monetary policy

Economic Reporter: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has announced its flagship monetary policy statement (MPS) for the first half of the current 2017-18 financial year (FY18).

BB Governor Fazle Kabir unveiled the MPS at 12.15pm on Wednesday at a press conference at the central bank headquarters at Motijheel in the city.

Among others, Deputy Governors Abu Hena Mohammad Razi Hasan and SK Sur Chowdhury, Bangladesh Bank's Change Management Advisor Allah Malik Kajemi, Chief Economist Faisal Ahmed and Chief Economic Advisor Md Akhtaruzzaman were also present.
