BCB name Tigers’ ODI squad against West Indies

Sports Desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced Tigers’ 16-member ODI squad for the tour of West Indies.
The three-match ODI series is scheduled to begin on July 22.
First ODI will be played on July 22 while the second one on July 25 at Guyana National Stadium, Guyana. The third and last ODI of the series will be played on July 28 at Warner Park, St. Kitts.
Opener Anamul Haque Bijoy, who played in the home tri-nation series involving Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka has been included in the squad for the upcoming series.
Four cricketers – Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Nazmul Islam Apu, Abu Haider Roni and Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi – have been included for the first time in the ODI squad after representing the country in either Test or T20 cricket. Wicketkeeper batsman Liton Kumar Das was also included in the team.
Six players -– Imrul Kayes, injured Nasir Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Abul Hasan Raju, Mohammad Saifuddin and Sunzamul Islam -- have been dropped from the ODI squad.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will lead the 16-man squad for the three-match ODI series.
