BCL activities suspended in B'Baria

Brahmanbaria Correspondent: All type of political activities of Brahmanbaria district Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was suspended following a clash.

The BCL central executive committee took the decision at an emergency meeting on Sunday night.

 

Earlier, district administration imposed section 144 in four upazilas of Brahmanbaria including Bijoynagar after BCL called strike ahead of the Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sayedul Haque’s visit there.

Meanwhile, a clash was took place between a section of local BCL and Police during a hartal enforced by the party protesting the visit of the Minister.
