BCL leader shot dead in Jessore

Staff Correspondent: A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was shot dead by miscreants on Sunday midnight.

The incident took place around 11.30pm on Saturday at Godgolla More of Bezpara.

The deceased is Monowar Hossain Imon (29), ex-vice president of Jessore district unit of BCL and son of Anowar Hossain at Godgolla More.

According to sources, miscreants shot Imon around 11.30pm when Imon was in front of Salam Furniture, leaving him dead on the spot.

Kotwali Thana Officer-in-Charge AKM Azmol Huda confirmed the matter but he could not know the reason of murder.
