BIWTA suspends Sadarghat launch service

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) suspended all types of water vessels services from Sadarghat launch terminal in Dhaka due to calamitous weather.
The BIWTA took the decision on Sunday noon.
All passenger launches on 41 routes have remained halted.
The suspension will remain until the situation improves, according to the BIWTA.
