Senior Correspondent: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) alleged that the Election Commission (EC), being instructed by the government, is making a design to hold a lopsided election in three city corporations (Barisal, Rajshahi and Sylhet).
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi came up with the allegation at the party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Saturday.
He said, “The ruling quarter is basically in drunk with a bad plot, creating a dusk-storm over the upcoming three city election. They actually consider the getting right back of voting as a crime. And that’s why, they are innovating new models of vote rigging and terrorism.”
“The government has taken a plan of neo strategy to make empty of voters and polling agent for the opposition party. The EC and police, being instructed by the government, are making a design of arranging one-sided poll in the three city polls,” Rizvi said.
