BNP announces countrywide demo Sunday

Senior Correspondent: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called a countrywide demonstration on Sunday in protest of Saturday's raid conducted at the party chief's Gulshan office.

Senior Joint General Secretary of the party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi came up with the announcement while speaking a programme at the capital's Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) auditorium on Saturday noon.

Earlier in the morning, police raided Khaleda's Gulshan office in search of anti-state documents.
