BNP finds conspiracies whenever it fails: Muhith

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) finds conspiracies whenever it fails.

The Minister came up with the remarks while laying the foundation stone of a mosque at Lalbagh in the city. The district administration has given land for the mosque.

A constructive opposition party is required in the country, he said, adding that the parliament becomes more effective in the presence of a constructive opposition party.

The opposition party should make constructive criticisms of the government, he added.

Finance also expressed his hope that the people will vote for Awami League in the next polls for development.

Replying to a question from journalists on gas price hike, the finance minister said the price was very low and the recent increase will not be a problem for the users.
