BNP joins Dr Kamal’s rally

Senior Correspondent: A four-member delegation of BNP on Saturday joined a rally of Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikya Prokriya at Mahanagar Natya Mancha in the city to forge a greater national unity ahead of the upcoming parliamentary election.

The delegation led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir joined the programme around 3:15pm.

The other members of the delegation are standing committee members Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed and Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan.

Besides, several leaders of the BNP-led 20-party alliance joined the rally.

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President Badruddoza Chowdhury is the chief guest of the programme.

On September 15, the Dr Badruddoza Chowdhury-led Jukta Front and the Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikya Prokriya formally announced the journey of a ‘greater national unity’.
