BNP leader Chand among 12 arrested

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Police arrested 10 to 12 BNP leaders and activists including the party’s executive committee member and Charghat Upazila Parishad chairman of Rajshahi Abu Sayeed Chand Saturday evening.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdur Razzak Khan, also Rajshahi police spokesperson, confirmed the news.
He said, “Chand and his associates were arrested for delivering provocative statement at BNP’s founding anniversary and over blasting bombs during the programme."
