BNP leader Taimur sent to jail

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Narayanganj BNP leader Taimur Alam Khandaker has been sent to jail in two cases.

Taimur was separately appeared before the courts of Additional District and Sessions judge Ali Hossain of Special Tribunal Court and Judicial Magistrate Mahamud Mohsin on Tuesday afternoon.

After hearing in the cases, the courts sent him to jail rejecting bail petitions.

Earlier, BNP chairperson’s adviser Taimur Alam Khandakar was arrested from Adalatpara area of Narayanganj city on Tuesday noon.

A team of Fatullah Model Police Station arrested him.
