BNP pays homage to Liberation War martyrs

Staff Correspondent, Savar: BNP on Sunday paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Memorial marking the 48th Victory Day.

The party’s senior leaders, led by its Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir placed  wreaths at the altar of the memorial at Savar around 9:00am.

They also stood in solemn silence there for some time as a mark of respect to the memory of the Liberation War martyrs.

BNP leaders Nazrul Islam Khan, Dewan Md Salahuddin Babu and AZM Zahid, were, among others, present.
