‘BNP to create anarchy if Khaleda gets release’

Staff Correspondent: Awami League (AL) Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Hasan Mahmud alleged that BNP will create anarchy across the country if the party chairperson Khaleda Zia gets release from jail.

He said, “It was proved after pro-BNP lawyers waged agitation and created chaos in the court premises disgracing of court order.”

The Awami League leader came up with the allegation while speaking at a programme of National Children's Day at Tejgaon College auditorium in the capital on Friday.

The former minister said, “It is certainly contempt of court as pro-BNP lawyers agitated on the court premises after their chairperson failed to secure bail. According to the High Court (HC) directives, no chaos will be created on the Supreme Court premises.”

He said, “Khaleda Zia celebrates her birthday party on August 15 to encourage killers of Bangabandhu. Not only Bangabandhu and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib were killed on the day, but also 10-year old Sheikh Russel and four-year old Sukanto Babu were murdered among other children. It's a misfortune for us as Khaleda Zia celebrates her birthday on the day.”
