BNP to stage rally on Saturday

Senior Correspondent: Changing the date for holding a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on September 27, BNP has set September 29 (Saturday) as the new date for the rally.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement while briefing media at party’s central office in city’s Nayapaltan on Tuesday.

Rizvi urged all leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations to make the rally a success.

The party has arranged the rally demanding proper treatment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia as well as her release from prison.

Earlier, BNP declared to hold the rally either at Suhrawardy Udyan or in front of Nayapaltan party office on Thursday (September 27).
