BNP’s Rumin Farhana to contest in reserve seat

Senior Correspondent: The BNP has considered the name of Assistant International Affairs Secretary Rumin Farhana for one seat reserved for woman.

She will submit her nomination form to Election Commission on Monday, sources said.

Following the party decision, Rumin Farhana said, “I want well-wishes of all so that I can echo the speech of the party.”

On the other hand, there is a chaos centering the nomination form issue. A part of BNP gave consent to Rumin another part took position on behalf of BNP executive committee member Nipun Roy. However, another fraction recommended BNP vice-chairman Selima Rahman.
