BNP’s founding anniversary rally begins

Senior Reporter: The public rally of BNP marking the 40th founding anniversary began in front of its Nayapaltan central office in the city around 2.00pm.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was presiding over the rally while senior leader Dr Khandokar Mosharrof Hossain was present as the chief guest.

BNP is celebrating its 40th founding anniversary across the country today (Saturday) with various programs.

On September 1, 1978, late President Ziaur Rahman founded the party with a 19-point program to build a self-reliant Bangladesh.
