BUET students call off protest

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) students have suspended their protest.

In a press conference, the protesters made the announcement on Tuesday evening.

The students said, they are satisfied as their demands are met.

According to the announcement, a mass oath taking program will be held tomorrow where teachers also will attend.

The protesters also said, general students will boycott all academic activities from tomorrow until the university authorities expelled the killers of Abrar Fahad.

Meanwhile, they said three of ten demands were met by the law enforcers. We noticed that the law enforcers took quick steps in this regard.

“Besides, the BUET administration met our five demand. That’s why we have decided to withdraw the demonstration from Wednesday,” the students said.
