BUET to conduct drives in halls

The authority of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) will conduct drives in every hall. 

BUET Directorate of Student Welfare (DSW) Prof Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news after VC’s meeting with students at the auditorium on Friday.

He said, “BUET administration will conduct drive in every hall of the institution led by five senior teachers.”

When asked against whom the drive is? He said, “Outsiders and former students are staying in every hall. They will be kicked out. Besides, drugs and arms will be seized if there is found.”

“Nearly 50 percent of students are staying in halls even they had passed. Besides, BUET administration will free all politically occupied rooms,” he added.
