‘Bangabandhu killers to be brought back home’

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Saturday said punishment for the killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who are fleeing abroad will be ensured after bringing them back to the country.

The foreign minister made the statement while inaugurating a procession led by Sylhet Government Kinder Garden School on occasion of its achievement as the best primary school in the country.

Momen said, “The punishment will be ensured for the fugitives after bringing them back ahead of Bangabandhu’s 100th birth anniversary celebration across the country."

“Much progress has already been made regarding the assassin living in Canada,’’ the minister said adding that he will raise the issue during his trip to America where assassins are taking shelter.
