Sports Desk: Bangladesh 'A' team beat Ireland 'A' team by 87 runs in the second unofficial ODI at Oak Hill Cricket Club, Wicklow in Ireland on Friday.
Winning toss, Ireland opted to field first. Bangladesh batsmen scored 289 runs losing six wickets in their stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Ireland managed to score 202 runs losing their all wickets.
Bangladesh batsman Zakir Hasan missed century just for eight runs. He scored 92 runs hitting eight boundaries and three over boundaries in 92 balls.
Besides, Fazle Mahmud bagged half century. He scored 53 runs playing only 41 balls while, Al Amin scored 47 runs.
On the other hand, Ireland bowlers Peter Chase and Tyrone Kane took three wickets each.
The next match will be held on August 5 in Wicklow. The fourth and fifth one-dayers will be held on August 8 and 10 respectively in Dublin.
