Bangladesh claim SAFF U-15 Women title

Sports Correspondent: Bangladesh have clinched the maiden SAFF Under-15 Women's Championship title, beating India 1-0 on Sunday at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in city's Kamalapur.
Earlier, Bangladesh thrashed India 3-0 in their final group league match on Thursday in the same venue.
In Sunday's match, Anuching got a chance to score in 23rd minute, but she lost control over the ball and failed sending it to the net.
Finally at 42nd minute, Shamsunnahar hit a goal before the half-time.
As there was no goal in the second half, Bangladesh clinched the title.
The impressive girls' in red and green also maintained their all-win record in the championship. They thrashed Nepal 6-0 in their opening game and then blanked Bhutan 3-0 in their second fixture of the regional age-group championship.
