Bangladesh made flying start with a big victory in the five-team men’s cricket competition of the 13th South Asian Games.
Tigers beat Maldives by 109 runs at the Nepalese capital Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Top order batsman Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh Men’s (Under-23) Cricket team batted first and scored 174 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, Maldives were bold out in 19.2 overs, scoring just 65 runs.
