Bangladesh need 160 runs to secure berth in final

Sports Desk: Sri Lanka have set 160-run target for Bangladesh in the 6th T20I of the tri-nation Nidahas Trophy at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday.

This is Bangladesh’s must-win game to stay in the final berth race as India secured top spot on the table of the seven-match tournament.

The hosts, thanks to Kusal Perera’s 61 runs, managed to score 159 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs.

The wicketkeeper Kusal Perera hit 61 runs off 40 balls with 7 fours and a six.

Thisara Perera (c) bagged 58 runs of 37 balls which includes three sixes and three fours.

For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman earned two wickets off 39 runs. Shakib Al Hasan (c), Rubel Hossain, Mehidy Hasan and Soumya Sarkar shared a wicket.
