Sports Desk: Visiting West Indies set 199-run target for Bangladesh in the series-deciding match of the three-match ODI series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) in Sylhet on Friday.
Windies, thanks to Shai Hope’s 108 runs, managed to score 198 runs losing 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Bangladesh spinner Mehidy Hasan Mirza took 4 wickets for 29 runs. Shakib Al Hasan and Masrafe Mortaza each bagged two wickets while Mohammad Saifuddin took a wicket.
Earlier, Tiger skipper Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to field first.
For West Indies, only Shai Hope hit a brilliant century (108) runs to help the visitors to score 198 runs.
No other Caribbean batsman could managed reach 20 runs.
