Bangladesh set 325-run target for Sri Lanka

Sport Correspondent: Bangladesh have set a 325-run target for Sri Lanka  in the first ODI of the three-match series at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Saturday.

Tigers with a century by Tamim Iqbal and two half centuries by Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al-Hasan scored 324 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs to set the decent target for the hosts.

Tamim scored 127 (142) runs with 15 fours and a six while Shakib earned 72 (71) runs with 4 fours and a six.

Sabbir scored 54 runs by 56 balls and Mossadek Hossain baged 24 runs by 9 balls.

Earlier, Sri Lanka stand-in skipper Upul Tharanga won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.
