Bangladesh set to play 100th Test

Sports Desk: Touring Bangladesh will play their 100th Test match when they take on Sri Lanka at the P Sara Oval in Colombo at 10:30am Bangladesh time on Wednesday, forgetting the 259-run defeat in the first Test at Galle last week.

Bangladesh are going to play the historic match 17 years after joining international cricket’s elite club.

On the 140th anniversary of Test cricket, Tigers will become the tenth nation to play 100 Tests when they take the field in Sri Lanka.

Tigers are going into today's Test trailing the two-match series 0-1 after last week's crushing 259-run defeat at Galle.

Since their first Test against India at Dhaka in November 2000, Bangladesh have experienced a miserable record, losing 76 of out 99 matches.

TV channels-- Channel 9, Ten Cricket and Ten 3 will broadcast live the match.
