Bangladesh win gold in Archery at ISSF Championship

Sport Desk: Bangladesh's Hira Moni won gold medal in Archery at the 1st Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) International Archery Championship.

 

She defeated Ramozamova of Azerbaijan in the women’s individual recurve final at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka on Monday.

Archers of fourteen countries took part in the competition including Azerbaijan, Iraq, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Mauritania, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Morocco, Nepal, Bhutan and host Bangladesh.
