Banks open Saturday

Staff Correspondent: The Bangladesh Bank asked commercial banks located in commercially important areas to operate on Saturday (August 18).
A circular to this effect was issued by the central bank on Tuesday ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
The central bank issued the circular to all banks asking them to keep open their branches located in Dhaka city, Ashulia, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar, Valuka, Narayanganj and Chittagong for full work hours on August 18.
