Banks open after Eid holidays

Staff Correspondent: Government and non-government offices and banks resumed operations on Sunday after holiday marking Eid-ul-Azha.
The first working day was spent amid exchange of Eid greetings.
The scenario was identical at the Bangladesh Bank, insurance offices, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) offices.
City streets also remained empty as most of Eid holidaymakers have yet to return to Dhaka.
