Barisal, Barguna get new DCs

Staff Correspondent: The government today appointed two new deputy commissioners (DC) in Barisal and Barguna districts.

Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard this afternoon to make the decision effective immediately.

According to the notice, Social Welfare Minister’s personal secretary Habibur Rahman has been made Deputy Commissioner of Barisal while Pabna Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mokhlesur Rahman appointed Deputy Commissioner of Barisal.

Earlier, Barisal DC Gazi M Saifuzzaman and Barguna DC Bashirul Alam were removed from their posts.
