Befitting reply if anarchy created: Quader

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday said a befitting reply will be given if anyone tries to create any anarchy in the name of national unity and movement in the country.

The minister came up with the warning while talking to newsmen after visiting the ongoing BRT project on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Bhogra area of Gazipur.

Quader, also the Awami League General Secretary, said, "I think those who are trying to catch fish in troubled water live in a fool's paradise. If they create any anarchy in the name of national unity and movement in the country, they will be stopped at any cost."

“BNP didn’t see any success during the last four years despite its call for a movement on many occasions. People are afraid of BNP because of its arson movement,” he said.

Superintendent of Gazipur Police Samsunnahar, Engineer Sabuj Uddin Khan were present during this time.
