‘Bribery-corruption dishonors martyrs’

Staff Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud opined that if anyone get involved with bribery-corruption that act dishonors martyrs.

The ACC Chairman made the opinion while addressing a discussion at ACC headquarters in the capital on Monday.

Iqbal Mahmud said corruption must be reduced to ensure fair distribution of resources to the society.

“Our previous generation left a country in exchange of their supreme sacrifice. So, we are paying tribute to them. If anyone of us get involved with bribery-corruption that act dishonors martyrs,” he said. 

ACC secretary Dr Md Shamsul Arefin, director general Dr Md Mostafizur Rahman director Md Moniruzzaman and others attended the programme.
