According to the decision, Elen met Anwar Hossain with all documents necessary to renew the license.    had received Tk 90,000 as bribe. But he (Awnar) demanded two lakh taka as bribe for this.

At one stage, Elen gave him Tk 90,000. Some days later, he demanded more one lakh taka more. Finally, the file was filed up as Elen denied to pay money anymore.

Elen, later, informed DC over the matter. He immediately transferred Anwar Hossain to Khoksa and asked him to return the money.

Finally, Anwar returned Elen Tk 90,000 on Thursday.

Anwar confessed to receiving and returning the bribe money. He said, “I returned the money with the instruction of top authority.”
