Brother kills brother in Satkhira

Satkhira Correspondent:  An elder brother has hacked younger brother to death over a minor feud in Satkhira.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon at Bandokati village under Kaliganj upazila.

The deceased is Akkas Ali, 57, son of Mohammad Ali at Bandokati village.
According to locals, elder brother Azgar Ali and younger brother Akkas Ali locked into an altercation centering eating crops by a goat. At one stage, Azgar Ali hacked Akkas. Azgar’s son Nuruzzaman also stabbed his uncle Akkas.  He died on way to Kaliganj Health Complex.

Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Thana Hasan Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter.
