Bus-auto-rickshaw collision kills 2 in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: At least two people were killed and three other were injured in a collision between a bus and auto-rickshaw on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway on Thursday morning.

The accident took place around 8.00am in Baklia police station area of the port city.

One of the deceased was identified as auto-rickshaw driver Jamal Uddin (40).

Three others were undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) after they sustained injuries.

Five persons were taken to the CMCH following the collision between a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw and a Cox’s Bazar-bound bus. Of them, two were pronounced dead by the physicians, according to sources.
