Bus-pickup van collision kills 2 in Solonga

Sirajganj Correspondent: Two people were killed and fifteen others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a pickup van in Harinchara area under Solonga upazila of Sirajganj district early Sunday.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sub Inspector of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Ashraful Islam said a passenger-bus named ‘RP special’ collided head-on with a pickup van, leaving 17 people injured.

Later the injured people were admitted to local clinics and Sirajganj sadar hospital where the doctors declared two of them dead.
